  3. i have umi rear uppers and lowers so the first kit will bolt right up to those.. im jus wondering if its worth it to spend the extra money for the more expensive rear sway bar versus the kit with front & rear. i have all umi parts out back so thats why im goin with their sway bars and was jus curious!!!!

So im goin to order my sway bars today and I was wondering should I go with this kit LINK or replace the rear one with this one LINK2 what are your thoughts as this will be mainly a street car but i do plan on goin to the track to see the numbers it makes and in the future i am planning on switching to a big block for some real fun!!!
  5. removing the front clip will be easier than building something to stand it on. its only 2 bolts holding it to the frame and you dont even have to remove the radiator....
  6. you can get a stock looking fiberglass hood but keep lookin for metal fenders!
  7. got the doors back on the car and lined up pretty close..since I didnt have an extra set of hands to help i found a new use for my engine hoist...hahahah
  8. there is no difference in the body bushing set between a 350 car and a 454 car..they both use the same amount of bushings...2 on each side of the firewall!!
  9. if you know how to weld you could cut it in half at the bend then pull it out and weld it back together..jmo
  10. yes the snow ball is shrinkin and slowing down...woulda been alil further along but christmas came around...and nobody likes car parts but me..lol

  14. those extra mounts are used at the fire wall..montes use 4 like convertable chevelles

  16. skip proof huh..interesting. i bought the ones from harbour freight....those..some lube and a punch worked great for me! Lube is the most important thing!

  21. thanks for those pics..this is on my list of up comming mods!! what did you do about the steering column or was your car already a floor shift car??
  22. only advice i can give on that is use alots of grease on em..put em in the freezer over night. if their poly bushings...take the bushing out the metal case and get a 5lb hammer unless the rearend is still in the car then u cant use the big hammer method...if thats the case then get a smaller hammer and a block of wood and pound them in.... thanks..shes a work in progress
