  1. Rod, like I said above, it will be a glance. As each scene it was in began I recognized the scene, because I was there, so I started watching like a hawk or I could have missed it too. In the beginning I was Luke warm on it but once the characters and storyline was set I thought it got better. That said, I still think some of the scenes last too long.rob
  2. The last episode of the season, episode 10, Holden and his girlfriend are in a grocery and at about 22:24, as they are leaving at 22:25 the car driving by is me in my Monte Carlo. Rob
  3. I was watching episode 9 this evening. At around 17:20 the star is standing outside a laundromat, looking at his girlfriend inside as he enters the laundromat and around 17:25 I drive by in my Monte for a full side shot of my car. If you aren't watching for it you will miss it because it is an evening scene. rob
  4. Sorry Ron but no is the answer.
  5. Well, it isn't much but One day while I was working our son, Tom, took my car to one of the shoots and part of my car is in a scene. You can see the passenger side roof and very little of the top of the passenger rear fender. It is in episode 5 if you start watching around the 14:30 mark of that episode. Again, it isn't much but it is there. rob
  6. I have now watched 4 episodes. My car and I were at the scene in episode 4 at the 22 minute mark. We were there for 9 hours for them to shoot that less than 90 second scene and my cat never made it in the scene. I will continue to watch the remaining 6 episodes. rob
  7. My schedule has not allowed me to watch much of it yet. rob
  8. Come on, Wheel would not need the car to terrify the locals rob
  9. Lookin good Wheel.... I love the fire ranger tower station in the background. Looks like a spiral staircase part of the way up. rob
  10. Rod, I did notice that car also. I paused it when I saw that car and I think it is a Buick or a Pontiac. It looks like it could be a rag top but not sure. I was not at that taping site so I'm not positive. That guy with the shotgun had a pretty short role rob
  11. There is a glimpse of my car in episode 2 around the 47:26 point of that episode. You can see the left side of my car from the left rear. As you are watching one of the stars is sitting on his porch steps smoking a cigarette waiting for his partner. Right after that it shows his ride coming and that is when you can catch a glimpse of my car.... My car will be giving out tread signatures at the Eastern Meet. rob
  12. That didn't escape my notice either. rob
  13. Possible vacuum issue at the distributor for one thing. Possible timing/dwell issue for another. rob
  14. Rod, we weren't told much during the filming so I am going on the same information as you, based upon the trailer and Netflix released information. I think you hit the nail on the head though. rob
  15. We read in the paper that this show will be available on Friday, Oct 13th for streaming any time after 3:00AM that morning. We also learned they will not start filming next year's episodes until next spring so, unlike last year when they would shoot all year round (they called me once when snow was in the forecast and I turned them down) so I wont have to worry about that next spring. rob
  16. This coming Friday will be the Premier of Netflix new show Mind Hunters. My car may be in some of the episodes of this show. I was at numerous shoot locations for this series. I am not sure what time the show will be on yet but hope to be watching to try to get a glimpse of it. rob
  17. Scott, Here in the Electrical Forum there are wiring diagrams for the 70 Monte. Click on the very first thumbnail picture and take a look at the very first picture in that post. There are three legs on the horn relay. The second one from the right is an orange wire with a fusible link that looks like it joins a red wire and another orange wire with another fusable link. You will notice a couple wire color changes . I hope this helps you out. rob
  18. Nice Job Paul, they look really great. Hard work and patience really paid off. rob
  19. Guy, I am trying to remember the proper placement of that spring. I can't remember if it goes between the door panel and the plastic protector plate or between the plastic proctor plate and the crank. I do know part of it's job is to protect the door panel from the spinning of the window crank against the door panel. rob
  20. I hate Trick Questions. You must be talking about a Chevelle because we all know Monte'so didn't have door handles. Just kidding Guy, if I am not mistaken, all of the Window cranks, front and rear, had the panel springs. That said...... was the spring used with the electric window buttons????...again just kidding, we all know the answer to that. rob
  21. Congrats. Ryan brought up good point though. If this is the first time you have moved the car, under power I would like to know how long the car has been sitting. If it has been a long time I would change all of the fluids to be safe. rob
  22. Aaron, Aaron, Aaron.... You really need to take the plunge and mount those bumper guards, your car looks much better with them. rob
  23. Dale, I can't think of a better way for a father and son to really get to know each other and bond than sharing an interest in working on old cars. Many people here know that my first car was (and I still own her) a 1929 Tudor Sedan Model A Ford. When I found the car and told my father about it he told me that his first car was a 1929 Model A Ford Tudor Sedan. My dad would do what he had to do on cars but working on them was never his favorite thing to do (he and my mom had a lot on their hands raising 4 kids and working the activities we all wanted to do) butt when we brought this car home he and I, with the help of some friends had that car completely disassembled the same weekend we brought it home. He was a great source of information on what was original and what was not on that car. I cherish the memories of his helping me on that car and it so warmed my heart to see the smile on his face with every milestone I met while I restored that car. Enjoy the time you spend with your son on these cars and I promise he will have fond memories for the rest of his life. rob
