  1. Are the load leveling valves considered right or left handed. I see on the Dayton Air website they offer both - I have the original but not sure if it works or which side handed it is? Gathering parts n pieces to start restoring now that i have retired!
  2. pacecarjeff.com lists the clamp sizes - 2 different versions of kits or you can purchase sizes in pairs. if correct restoration he uses correct "wittek" clamps n can date code if you wish ( for an added fee) . He also has heater hose n by-pass hose clamps for a correct restoration. Price-wise he's a couple $ cheaper than Ground Up. Hope this helps. He also has correct hand-stamped radiator hoses, ribbed heater hoses n pvc hose w/ check valve. looks like I should work for him! Steve
  3. hi Dan, mcsteve here, looks like you bought the car in Chandlerville, Illinois that i posted on this site back in february. He had 2 - 1970 ss montes he bought near Alton, Illinois just to flip them. I bought the other car (red w/ black top n interior). Supposedly the rearend in my car was out of your car - 2.56 posi: my build sheet says my car was non-posi 2.56. The vin #s were only 170 cars apart built at Baltimore plant. I looked for the build sheet in usual places (front seat backs n both halves of rear seat but just used mirror under front buckets to look). Triple black car will be really cool - that car is very rebuildable. Good luck with it! Steve
