  2. Lol nice barn finds! Jealously beautiful 😍
  3. Really nice!!!!!! Middle or front im assuming the rear brace as well! Totally Awesome
  4. What if I beg really nicely lol or move heavy stuff somewhere 😂
  5. I'm wondering if anyone has or knows of a decent place to acquire braces. I'm most likely looking for all 3 on my 1970
  6. So manual valve body? I've read and seen the term, but is it actually making it a manual? Or I was hoping Holly would make a bracket I could put on the throttle body.
  7. And the trouble maker been an awesome awesome source of help 😄 tad crazy he be though the best ones are!
  8. Definitely is a joker mention 🙂 when I do the cowl I'm gonna tuck a joker card (painted) on it. Not to big though 😂
  9. All good workspaces are a mess right lol. It's actually my buddy's garage. So me not being so mechanically inclined for shouldering most the weight of the mechanics I'm trading him my 88 Monte (which he's LS swapping ATM.) For the work on the 70. Sure is beautiful seeing that car 28 years apart!
  10. So I've got two avenues. It's got an old 350 tranny under her now. I know nothing about other than when she had her 350 motor it rode down the road on short quick gas can run. I've had a few g-body Monte Carlos and have always struggled with the kick down or indent cable. So I went out and got a 4L80 I figure that be good enough to hold that big block. But I didn't account for needing a stand alone tcu (computer). I also know the drive shaft will have to be modified if I got the 4L80 route. But is there a way to use it without the comp? It'll hook up to 850 Holley carb. So for wanting to drive it's sake I thought maybe pulling out the 350 n rebuilding her with stage 2 goodies. But I'm not mechanic and I've never rebuilt one. Which route would be the painless of the two?
  11. Hoping early spring. I've got alittle body work and transmission issues to go over but soon 🙂
  12. Green purple and yes I've seen Dennis disapproving face lol 🤣
  13. The love. To answer yes it's marvel, I've always loved the joker. His knowledge about being trapped in a comic. And just the sinister sarcasm lol. This is the latest of pics! And Mr. Dennis can pick on me all he wants. I know I've tortured him with enough questions everyday 🙂
  14. Well will be a new member, but very very excited to be be amongst y'all. Currently building a 1970 Monte Carlo. I've got a 2 bolt 454 big block, she's been to the machine shop. Bored out .40 over. My stock heads are tuned to the cam I got. Just a little stage 1 comp cam (I've never messed with an aftermarket cam so I wanted to start on the smaller end of the spectrum. Dished pistons and an eagle crank to boot. I've just recently finished purchasing all the items I need to do a fuel injected style fuel line, fuel pump out of tank with a return line. It all leads to an 850 Holley brawler carb. As of now putting timing cover gasket on and cradling it in the car, hoping she starts this is my and my buddy who's helping first old school build on the motor so fingers crossed. We're also in the process of cutting out the floor pans and fixing up the braces. But all n all hoping to have her on the street in early spring! Thank you
