  1. Hey David the QTP are like the M/T ET Street which will spin on the rim if you hook hard enough.. I've used the ET Street, now ET Drag that are pinned at the track....I just bought a set of the M/T Street Drag radial I will be using on the street, but I have friends that have used them at the track and gone 11.00 with a 1.53 60ft with them not pinned Scott
  2. Dart Pro 1's here - I had the Edelbrock performer RPM on my last motor (much smaller), no comparison..
  3. Big fan of Pro Systems - they nailed it right on the money (and not much more $$ then a box stock Holley HP
  4. The Quick Times and ET Streets do grow slightly but 3/4 of inch is plenty of room - sectional width is different when comparing these tires to radials as your really only looking at bubble to bubble, IMO if you will fine at the track. I used MT ET Drags (stiff sidewall) 28x10.5 (which is comparable to the QT 28x11.5) at the track with 14pounds of air and no rubbing in my wheel well (which is definately smaller then your monte)
  5. Quick time pros are similar to the ET Streets - they are DOT approved (so no tickets) - I have run them on my car since 2000 (with tubes) on the street with no issues. 17 is a little low for the street unless your on smooth level pavement, but the only way to get them to work out of a dig is to a burnout to heat them up.
  6. I have the M/T ET streets that I run with 20-24 pounds and they don't work either on the street, anywhere in first and second I can spin them at will - Im around 580-600 to the wheels.
  7. I hear ya, with me everytime I change something I always go with more then I need so I can grow into it....It has saved me money in the future. I have learned the hard way about doing things 2 times.
  8. You should think about getting the digital 6 box as well - I have the full MSD setup in my car - crank trigger, crank trigger distributor, blaster ss, and digital 6 box -
  9. It never ends - there will always be something to fix, repair or upgrade
  10. I have all Crower (lifters and rockers) in my motor (solid roller)
  11. Ive been using the M/T ET streets for 5 years now, 26 10.5 16, my 60 foots have been in the 1.58 to 1.63 range running 11.50's at 116. My new motor is going require a taller and wider tire so 28 11.50 15's are on the way, but im going to get a set of those new MT radials for the street, have heard great things about them. Scott
