  1. All the Big Block's I have had over the years I have always used Taylor wires with 45 degree spark ends. I bought the one's you has to cut to length and crimp the Distributer end. You can route then as you please, cut to length and put the boots on and crimp. Hope this helps. Dave
  2. Vacuum advance should be on ported side of the carb.
  3. I bought my 72 in July 2015. I have been working on little things one at a time. Thermostat housing (chrome) started to leak, turns out the threads were striped out of the intake. Drill, Tap and Heli-coil it, trashed chrome housing, installed a new cast iron housing, installed all new hoses and belts. No leaks at all. Just goes to prove a blind squirrel can find a nut sometimes!!
  4. I have 245/60/15 Cooper's on my 15 x 7 Rally Wheel's. Plenty of room front and rear.
  5. My 72 has a wire that runs to the inside rear view mirror to what looks like a map light. Was that a option that year? I have never seen one before. Dave
  6. My 72 has 3/8 lines on it. I'm sure yours is the same size.
  7. I need to remove my cluster in my 72 to replace some burned out bulbs, get the clock fixed and I will replace the circuit board while I have it out. I sure some members have done this before, looking for tips, do's and dont's and anything that I should look out for when doing this. Thanks!! Dave
  8. I ran a reverse manual VB for years at the track and on the street. Never a problem one and like Gator said, you control the shift points at any RPM you choose
  9. I have a set of long tube headers on mine, 72 with a 350 and A/C. They were on the car when I bought it and they fit very well. I don't know the brand though. Sorry
