Okay Monty car guys need help with my Quadra jet has an issue on start up when the car is cold. Car seems not to be getting fuel but I've change the fuel pump fuel line and filter. When I spray carb fire down the carburetor it starts up right away no issues. Could this be a float level issue? When running no issues with hesitating or accelerating runs really well can't figure this out, later on when the car sits it fires up right away no issues at all first click of the key ,thoughts or remedies welcomed thanks. Also the choke is hooked up and works well can't figure this out

Does anyone have a picture of the connection point of where the floor shifter cable attaches to the transmission. For a turbo 400

I have the turbo 400 bracket that mounts to the pan. I was looking for the piece that goes to the gear selector on the tranny. Sorry if i caused some confusion. Iwant to attach the cable so i can select gears. Thx

ok Monte guys, I am looking for the attachment connector that attaches the shifter cable to the transmission. It is for a Turbo 400 not sure if turbo 350 is the same. if someone could send a picture or let me who sells these. I got the bucket seats in today just waiting to install the floor shifter. The car was a colum/bench seat and is in the process of being a bucket/floor shifter. Thanks All

ok all, I am converting my bench to Buckets, I have a Dynacorn part umber 1402ewt which is for 64-72 seat bucket frame, how do these attach. Are they a bolt on or are they welded?

Hi guys I have a stock 12 bolt rear end non posi. Stk gears etc, can I install a posi unit without changing the axels etc. what's involved

When it is in neutral what are the rpms? When in to drive what are the rpm's Fluid checks are always good. When going through the gears are you noticing a increase in revs but power remaining the same?

I picked up some clear LED lamps for the Monte. Most were 194's and ones for the heater face and glove box. I was told on the 194 if they do not light up reverse the lamp and it will work. Is this true with all LED lamps ? I had installed them in my front marker lighs and noticed with the lights off, the side marker lamps do not flash at all? (Front signals work great) When the headlights or park lights are on they work just fine when turn signal or hazards are on. I could not get the heater to work with the LEDS and had to go back to original lamp. Thoughts or ideas.....ll.ll

found I little bubble under the vinyl roof, I cant leave it alone as it will only get worse. if I have to peel off not many options.

Anyone seen a green Monte with a white painted roof or would black be better. Thx Bill

Does anyone remember if you can purchase a headlight reminder buzzer. I know I had one many years ago and cant remember where I got it. left the lights on last night and sure could have used it, what can I say getting old

Good points, i am not worried about keeping the originallity of the car. If it was a straight swap I would do it myself. Changing the insides I would have a shop do it as it is beyond me. The car is basically stock and dont need anything to crazy. Thx

i have got it all fixed now, I was playing around with the wiring and had it set up so when one door is open that side courtesy light would light up and no dome light. it looks good at night when just the floor lights come on and you manually have to turn the dome light on if needed. Now open either door and all three come on. Had to re wire to all switches as previous owners cut pieces out and it was hell tracing them. thanks for your help once again I am a happy boy...

OK it is working, one more question when I open the drivers door the floor courtesy light goes on, when I open the pass door the floor courtesy light goes on is this right?

Ok guys and gals, on my 71 I found courtesy lights on pass and driver sides. only wires coming out of sockets are a white wire(looks like it goes to base of lamp) and then a orange. Which wire or wires go to jamp switch on booth sides? HELP
