  1. Bumper Guards are alright but I prefer a bumper without them. No wrong answer.
  2. To each his own but if the car has been restored I would leave it as is. Good luck if you do the swap!
  3. Put in a manual valve body and B&M Mega Shifter. 4 speed without a clutch. Also proper stall converter.
  4. I would hold off on the air shocks. I am running a Helwig sway bar, Edelbrock adj. uppers,solid lowers and the anti-hop bars. My car has springs with a 3 inch lift and stock HD shocks. Car handels great and very little roll in a curve. Hooks up great and i just run stret tires. Just another FYI. Good luck with your project.
