I just bumped the idle back up to what i used to be and sprayed the hell out of it with with carb spray It feel like it's starving for gas

Thanks guys It warmed up today into the 70's and the car ran really good. I dropped the idle down last night and it made the car actfunny I don't know if it's my tranny or the engnine but it's doing weird things. I gunned it at about 30 and it just gunned it so the tranny downshifted, when i got to about 60 or so i felt the car get power then loose power then it buckled. as soon as i let off the gas it was fine but i don't think that's ever happened before. I just filled it up and it was pretty low, maybe fuel filter is past it's prime? It has a clear one about the size of a golfball on one of the lines. It's kind of dirty and it isn't full of fuel most of the time. But ever sinse i did a transmission fluid "transfusion" with my friend and his dad the car has been acting different. I poured in new tranny fluid with the old coffie colored substance went into a 5gal bucket. HELP! lol

I just adjusted the idle so it's not so high with the choke I have no clue where the air/fuel mixture screws are It's like they're not even there

I'm going to go play with it, i've just been afraid to mess with the air fuel mix because i don't want to make things worse, and the fact that i don't really know what i'm doing

Wait so running it hard when it's running lean is bad for it? How bad?

it was 30 this morning, it ran fine just really lean

I think it's tapering inside the cylinder It's slowly dying

It's like 15% off Nothing insane just makes me wonder a little bit when it's about 60-65 outside the car runs absolutely perfect, it is amazing lol It's supposed to warm up by the end of the week so i'll just drive it the way it s for now

that makes sense It's been set up for about 85 degrees with 90 percent humidity and the idle doesn't drop either after it's warmed up. I feel tightness in the pedal also could it be the choke?

I've noticed since it's dropped below 60 the car has a little less power. It runs fine in the cold, i drove it this morning in 35 degrees Just doesn't have the same ummph it does when it's 90 degrees and high humidity And it still beats mustangs lol I got to play with a 69 fastback on the way home from a show tonight, from a 40 roll he was at my rear tires until 60

For a small block with flowaster 40's Mine can sing pretty good too lol
