  1. There is a trophy for club participation. We should have a good chance at that. It all depends on how many club cars get registered for the show. At the 2007 meet, the car show actually made special trophies for our club which was very nice.
  2. Good to hear Jack! It will great to finally meet you and Paula.

Yep, and we talk about if we should continue to allow green cars in the club.

Luckily the Rally Wheel fit in the media blaster. Time for some primer and paint...

  8. I'm driving the Monte. I think Jake is the only one in the convoy that is bringing the Monte on a trailor.
  9. That will be great if you could join us in our cruise Doug.
  10. Hotel Rooms: According to the records I received from the hotel just last week, there are still rooms available under the FGMCC name. Make sure you say you are part of the "FGMCC" group. Give that a shot. If you still have problems let me know and I'll contact them to straighten out the issue. I have sent them an email to get more details on the types of rooms left and hope to hear from them in a day or two. Friday Itinerary: The Cruise the Gorge event does not officially start until Friday evening with the neon cruise. However, based on my past experience, it is nice to arrive early to give time to get to know each other and get the cars clean before the weekend events begin. The weekend can be quite busy sometimes and goes by way too quickly. The people in this club are what make it great and it is nice where possible to extend the amount of time to get to know them. Most of the members who have been to a meet before will be arriving Thursday night since they have experienced the same thing at past meets. My guess is that roughly half of the people will arrive Thursday night. In my mind, that is truly when the meet starts. It is not a requirement that members arrive on Thursday and not everyone's schedules can permit that. But, it is recommended to be there earlier rather than later if possible. Same goes for the end of the weekend, some will choose to leave Sunday afternoon/evening whereas others will stay and relax Sunday evening before heading home Monday. I know it's the long answer to Doug's question but I want those who have not attended a meet to understand why some choose to get to the meet location early. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. DOUG: You have a PM
  11. It will likely take me about 4 hours to get into the Tacoma area so I'll probably get there arund 11am at the earliest. 11 is probably a good time to meet and then go wherever we decide t go for lunch. I'll be ready for a donut after 4 hours of driving
  12. I booked us a banquet room for the dinner and awards on Saturday evening. The banquet will be at Cousins Restaurant and Saloon. They were really nice to deal with and we have the room for 4 hours if we want it that long. http://www.cousinsthedalles.com

  14. There's a lot of great monitors to visit the FGMCC site though, LOL
  15. The rates are here: http://www.fgmcc.com/05meetwest.shtml
  16. Well, 26 Montes at this point. Should be a good time. Just under 3 months to go. If you have not made your reservations yet, you should start looking into it. You have until July 29th to make the reservation but they may be fully booked by then. If they say there are no more rooms under the FGMCC, they still may have other rooms left so ask. Let me know and I will let them know you are part of the group to get the group rate.
  17. Oh, sorry Adrian. I didn't see you there sitting in your little chair. Add Adrian to the list.
  18. As seen on TV. Looks great Jim!
