Aaronz28
anyone have a photo of where the white resistor wire that goes to the positive side of the coil comes out of the firewall.... is it in the main harness, or separated with an isolator through the firewall?previous owner eliminated the points distributor and put a HEI system in with a killswitch - needless to say - it appears the original wiring is gone - and a larger red wire installed inlace. i'm putting the original distributor back in and would like to restore the wiring to OE if possible (without replacing the entire underhood harness - as the rest of it appears un molested. i'd appreciate a photo or two many thanks Aaron
monte70car
That ing wire is part of the main wire harness for the motor.
Aaronz28
That ing wire is part of the main wire harness for the motor. and it is a white cloth-covered resistor wire with a yellow (from the starter) "start" wire on the same terminal - correct?
