monte70car
I know this is the interior section and this is related to a trunk. Been thinking of a black carpet to lay in the trunk to finish it off vs the current look
bigtankjones
I have been thinking about doing the same thing to my trunk. I need to patch up a couple little spots on the trunk floor first when I get her back from Daves. I don't know what to use yet. So when you go and do yours I hope you share you info. LS5
Hey ERT , just my thoughts but not cast in stone. Besides putting a rubber grommit around that fuel line coming through the floor pan so it doesnt rub and wear through, I would think more along the line of the style of trunk mat thats in the Chevelle's. Its a rubber backed green splatter but a vinyl / rubber blend that can be wiped down when gotten dirty or if you had to undo that fuel supply line and it spills a bit then it will wipe off the matt. Some resto places sell it by the roll which you can cut and make fit, Carpet will soak it up and retain the fuel smell possibly. Just my 2 cents thats all... monte70car
Darren I didn't think about a rubber. The line that is running through the pan is the lovely return line. The plan is to cover the trunk pan around the fuel cell and up on the tubs.
