roger70 monte
Hey guys, I know this has been discussed many times and I've done a search. All I need to know is, I have a 72 with stock disc brakes. What else do I need to install the 2" drop spindles? Is that all I have to buy? Will I need a new alignment? Thanks in advance. Leghome
I ALWAYS have my front end realigned after any front end work especially springs, spindles or control arm work.
Boots
you may have rim clearance issues with the drop spindle and may have to increase your tire size..there are others that have done this..wait a bit to see if they chime in..Robert may shed some light
monte70car
The drop spindle issue. I have two cars the have 2" drop spindles and run lowering springs with 15" wheels. If u run the 2" drop spindle and lowering springs you are looking at roughly a 3" drop at max. New alignment is always a give me when working on the front suspension as the chamber and caster will be off.
roger70 monte
I have 17"X7" American Racing wheels up front. Was hoping to just put the drop spindles on and maybe do an alignment. Anyone?
monte70car
Roger you will be fine with the 17's with the drop spindles. The alignment will give your tires a longer life.
