rentahubby Posted February 29, 2016 Share Posted February 29, 2016 I need to replace the tube in my car, it has a chrome one and its leaking at the bottom, I have changed the o-ring but it still leaks, is there a replacement that a guy could buy? I was thinking just ordering the original one from The Parts Place but wondered if someone had an opinion. I don't want a chrome one again, just something that is good. Sam (Bones) Posted March 1, 2016 Share Posted March 1, 2016 common problem, the O ring material needs to be a larger diameter and I always use some RTV silicon above the O ring, install the tube and let it set until the RTV fully cures before adding oil or starting the engine 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
