1970mcss
I installed a new inner fender and noticed the lower fender bolts were loose and one needed to be replaced. Anyway now the fender seems to have moved back and the door wants to hit the fender. Is there a special way to alien the lower fender? overdrive
Use a wooden yard stick as a straight edge from the rocker panel to the fender, and you can use a wooden door shim between the rocker and the fender for the forward adjustment. Use tape to protect the paint. Dan

1970mcss
The gap on the bottom of the door is still very close. Is there any other adjustments on the lower fender or should I get a profressional?
Rock
Are the door hinges worn out?
1970mcss
No, they don't seem to be. A little play in them but I don't they are worn out. The gap on the door to rocker panel looks consistent.
1970mcss
I loosened everything back up including the top of the fender and was able to get it looking pretty good. At least the door isn't hitting the fender. I envy those folks that have the skill and patients to alien these cars.
