Dtret
Is it factory or are you adding it?
Cooltech
It is factory. I did trace the wires and found that it comes down by the fuse block and it has an inline fuse of who knows what amp and where does it get the power from. MCfan
The '70 Monte Carlo Assembly Manual shows power coming from the ACC port on the fuse panel and going through the switch and back to the blower. I can't tell from the '70 Wiring Diagram Manual if the power wire runs independently for that RPO C50 or if it is included in any cabin or rear lighting harness.

Jeff Dodson
Does rear window defogger set on the rear shelf. I have part that was patched in on the back shelf between the speaker. I have been wondering what was there or went there
Dtret
The cover plate slides thru like the speaker grids. The motor bolts from bottom on the grid studs. The hole in the package tray there whether you have the defogger option or not.
