seam sealer for trunk

Hi I welded in a three piece trunk floor,,Ive heard of a self levelling seam sealer ,never used it,,wonder if it would be a good choice to levell out the lap seams .Any input appreciated.  thanks

That would work, or something labeled as brushable seam sealer. You can use a small paint brush to replicate factory look.

I use a seam sealer in a caulk tube and apply it over the seam. I then will take a paint stick or a plastic spreader and run over the bead once and only once to get that factory look. I've used paint brushes in the past and prefer the look that a paint stick leaves.
