Trans switch

Where is the switch located and do you know what year the tranny is? Different years had switches for different things. Probably won't be back up lights. That switch is usually on the lower part of the column with the neutral safety switch.

Steve, Another dumbo moment, don't know why I didn't include the year. It's a '71 TH350. Switch

is located on passenger side to left of TV cable

and below transmission lines. Somethng just click in my head. Suspect it's involved with the igintion timing, like retaring it. Thanks for the help. Ed

its the switch for the TCS (transmission controlled spark) it controls the soleniod between the carburator & the distributor. basically it turns the vacuum on or off depending on what gear the transmission is in. it allows vacuum to the distributor in high gear & reverse.
