true blue Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 Here's the deal i was sucked in to buying a 3000 stall( $800 CDN)for my 700R4 rebuild and after install ( 25 miles) i did not like the stall so i went back to the shop and asked if they would trade it in for a stock and no such luck. Once it was installed i was stuck with it so now i have it for sale. Best price i can get for it. kc8oye Posted November 18, 2009 Share Posted November 18, 2009 ACK! 3k stall w/o lockup would be horrible! is it a very loose converter? as in the car won't move at all until you hit 3k then it lurches forward? I have a 2500 stall with lockup and if I drive it lightly, it drives like a stock converter but if I punch it from a standstill I can feel the engine free-rev up to about 2500, feel the converter 'flash' and then I'm gone like a fart in the wind Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
