No SS Monte Carlos were built in 1972. The only way to get the SS was with a 454 (LS5 only). Note that in 1972 you could get a 454 Monte Carlo - without the SS option. (W-CODE). No 4-speed 454 Monte Carlos were built ! And no 4-speed 1972 Monte Carlos were built with any engine.
