ScottNM
So I purchased energy susp polyeurethane motor mounts/trans mount. After doing some research I am contemplating returning them. I understand they send vibration into the car. I am not into that. This is a street car mostly. The reason I got them is because of my new 467 500hp unit. I can get a full return on purchase. What would you do?
LS5
Hey Scott, I have a 70 date coded LS-5 out of a 70 vette in the Chevelle and just had it redone and a bunch of goodies added and instead of a factory 390hp it is now around 420-430 and I am running Factory Motor mounts that are brand new and are made in the USA but I managed to find them up here in Canada and have Zero vibration other than at the back tires...ahahahaha.. 71monteme
Scott. I run the stock rubber ones from autozone with the 496. been in there for years without problem. i think i make a little more then 500hp. and it goes to the track too. so you're safe to run the stock mount. get a refund if you can, if not someone here might be interested in them. thanh
ScottNM
I am probably going to return them. I bowhunt and use rubber dampeners on my limbs to help absorb vibration after energy release. It works great. I should have considered this but so many recommend poly.
