71monteme Posted January 27, 2012 Share Posted January 27, 2012 I'm redoing my bbc427. looking to get 475-500hp out of this combo, looking for some cam suggestions: hy-roller. block bored 60over. 10.5:1 compression. rect closed chamber heads around 110cc. 2.19in, 1.88ex valves. heads and intake been gasket matched. single plane intake. 750dp holley carb. my builder has some idea on the cam and so did comp cam tech. just want to get some other opinion before i decides. thanks thanh Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CrazyDavey Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 I'm upgrading the custom Chris Straub hyd roller in my motor...ran pretty good...just have to switch to a GenVI timing set and you won't need the button any more...it's for sale...
