Canuck Posted October 10, 2002 Share Posted October 10, 2002 I used semi-gloss to paint mine last year. It turned out really nice. I did a lot of coats since the rocks are gonna hit there. It depends on the year and the assembly plant. My 70 does not have the black rockers and when I bought it, it had the original paint: no black there, all black cherry. On the other hand, my placer gold 72 DID have the semi gloss black on the rockers.
