SS Haze Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 Took a short cruise Friday. 70 SS, 2 year old rebuild on the engine, 3 year old replacement radiator. Temp always is great. I pulled in the garage and after shutting it down it heard a small 'pop' sound about 15 seconds after I got out of the car and then coolant started coming out of the overflow tube. I was going to do the radiator cap, thermostat routine but I was wondering why something like that would happen all of a sudden? Guess I'm trying to figure out the mechanics of it.
