looter
I know a couple guys likely have their Montes in various states of completion...lol I'm looking for a measurement from front fender to front fender. Ideally, it would be to the inner lip on each side. I can take some educated guesses, but I was hoping to not have to pull my fenders out of storage to do it. Thanks a bunch Warren
Murphy
Warren, if I understand the question correctly, are you looking for the distance between the fenders where the hood fits into? Just measured mine and it is 56 11/16". This is measured from fender to fender across the fan shroud and from fender to fender behind the hood springs. I spent alot of time tweeking my fenders and hood adjustments last summer to get perfect gaps between the hood and each fender. Thankfully the hood opening is basically square (no taper from back to front)
looter
Thanks Murphy. I didn't have any coffee in me and could have been more clear. My Z06 rims need spacers in the front because of their offset. I'm just not sure how wide the front track needs to be to stay within the front fenders. The measurement needs to be from the inner fender lip inside the wheel well. I could just run the stock steel wheels until I have it all back together, but I'm impatient that way. looter
So the 2 easiest means of measurement are a car with no engine or inner fenders. Or a string run to the ground on each side and the distance measured there. Thanks for looking

Sam (Bones)
we measured from inner fender clip for bolt to the opposing one, just over 73"
looter
Perfect. Thanks a bunch. Gives me exactly what I need to build the front suspension.
footballubet
we measured from inner fender clip for bolt to the opposing one, just over 73" Now in Carpenter terms "just over"...does that mean a scoche or smidge? There is a big difference between the two!
