sewerman20
I am looking to replace my rear control arms with a boxed set. Some catalog list them as control arms some list them as trailing arms, are they the same? The pictures look the same but I thought I would ask before I place order. Thanks in advance. monte70car
There is Crossmember reinforcement support bars which run from the upper control arm to the lower control arm. I have never heard them called trailing arms always upper and lower rear control arms. Just need to make sure they fit 68-72 Chevelle, El Camino and Monte, some of the Buick, Pontiac, Olds arms might fit as long as they are for a-bodies in that year range. There is a kit on the market to make a non-box control arm boxed and there is nice aftermarket kits as well.
