  1. I have not done as many as Andy but I have done 2 of them so far and both installs went real nice. There is a Facebook group for them and the biggest problem I have seen is not taking the time to do a clean install. Make sure you ignition setup is good. I did a Caddy 500 and a SBC and did timing control on both of them. The Caddy was a little bit of a pain because they do not make the HyperSpark for it. Any questions, just ask.

  2. I guess I would trust Andy's opinion on this. Its been years since I was working on transmissions and he does this stuff every day. Have never met him in person but is quite knowledgeable from all the help he's offered over the years. Some day I'd like get down to his shop and meet him.

  3. That isnt metal, it looks like clutch pack material. I wouldnt say it needs rebuilding, but a rebuild certainly wouldnt hurt. A 400 is pretty bullet-proof in the transmission world.
