  3. it dosent sound like an exaust leak because you would hear it reguardless of what the car is doing..if the car is running you will hear it..weather or not its under load or jus at idle you will hear the exaust leak...Ive had to many exaust leaks not to know...theres something else goin on there if you only hear it under load and it increases with speed and not rpm.....thats something else...sounds like it might be pinging or knocking from bad gas or something...jus my 2 cents!!!
  4. so with the ac delete box you have to use your original fan and it bolts right in with no mods???? thats my next project!!!

  12. you guys a nutz...lol but as for the control arm assembly.. i took em to a friend at the local suspention shop and he took em apart for me all the while askin me why did I do it like this..it was a 15 minute conversation while he knocked em apart. Now to order everything so I can put it back together....and yes I will get an internal spring compressor for the intstal! all this frame cleaning is making me wanna take the body of so I can replace the body bushings and clean all the underbody up..man that darn snow ball!!!

  18. thanks for that link it is going to be very helpful.....watch out for those springs huh...I think my biggest problem will be the ball joints.. Cant I jus cut the springs to relive the tension since im not going to reuse them???????? thats what I might do although on the drivers side I got the spring tied off wit a spring and 2 straps...kinda over kill but dont wanna get hit wit a flying spring!!!!!
  19. Ok heres the situation..Im in the process of removing the front end suspention..shocks, springs and control arms.(found out I have the oval bushings..lol) My question is is there any specific order to remove these parts? any good tips I should know before i dive into this? and how the heck do you separate the darn ball joints. I noticed when trying to remove the lower control arm thaty you cant get the front bolt out without removing the stering arms and center link cuz it blocks the bolt from comming all the way out...so any tips and tricks would be very helpful... I alerady got the springs chained down so they wont come flying out at me...lol
  20. so their jus good look stock repops huh...ok since ive finally started takin the control arms off..found out I have the oval bushings so now I can order new stuff....
  21. all the spot welds are in the front and rear window channels (top) then you gotta melt the lead on the top of the sail panels and front pillars...its hideing spot welds and on the drip rails. The ones on the drip rails goes through 3 pieces of metal so you gotta drill those out from the top to remove the roof!
  22. i got the streetfire hei msd..I think it was the 120 choice..its great..easy to set up and problem free
  23. Thats what I was reading else where Dan..all the benifits are in the uppers but its true that the lowers carry all the weight..Im still on the fence so for now I might jus get all new bushings and stay stock....but I dont know. I do want her to handle better than she did stock..so I will see!!!
  24. ahhhh thats a good idea..i never thought about it that way!!!
