the axles should be the same length and both are c clips so I dont think the actual axles are different but the rear end center sections parts arent interchangeable

so i found out today that Moser dosent make or offer 33 spline c clip axles....they told me they could sell me 33 spine axles that are held in with bolts and this requires welding..which im tryin to avoid....hummmm

dont do a 10 bolt..rebuild the 12 bolt you have...

are you goin to replace the axles also? if so then what ever posi carrier you choose will have to match the spline count of the axles..if your not gonna replace ya axles then youi have to find out your axle spline count so u can get the correct posi carrier...i belive stock gm axles are 28 spline but double check..but honestly i would get new axles cuz depending on your powere output..those old axles are now the weak point back there..u dont wanna break something and have to go back in there to fix it...

lol yeah the foam is just for a mold to get it looking how I want it to look..then once the design is set..i will either cover it in fiberglass or build it outta wood..havenr decided that part yet but no matter which way I do it..i plan on having it covered in what ever fabric i have the seats redone in. i dont want buckets in the back...the console will only go to the end of the front seats.............. this should be fun..jus have to get my floor shifter and make it all come together

so ive started to make my own center console since i have seats out of a different car i figured the stock console and horseshoe shifter would look out of place and mine is a column shift anyway so..here goes the begining of my custom center console build......wish me luck!!!!

i got the helwig front and rear set.....the rear i went with the one that mounts to the axle and to the frame cross member...after i compared all the ones from BMR..UMI..hotkis and others..these got the best reviews and were actually cheaper than all the rest...check em out

well yesterday i went home and got under there and checked things out. turns out its not the rear main seal..thank god..its actuallu the tranny leaking from the speedo bullet thing. time to replace the o rings on that. seems easy enough to do but where can i get those o rings from?????

hey guys..i have developed a rear main seal leak..dam and the car isnt even on the road yet. so is it possible to replace this without dropping the tranny or removing the motor from the car???

thats what i was thinkin..the battery terminal felt pads look about the same size

400+ per tire..those are gonna be some big meats back there...

ive considered the c clip eliminator things but honestly i dont forsee that much track time and I was worried bout all the leaking stories ive heard. i jus wanna play on the street and have some fun but now im wondering whats the cost difference in the axles and the rear end work? hummmm more research!!!

ok so ive started ordering rear end parts..got 342 gears and a tru trac unit in 33 spline form. i ordered this one because stronger is better and i figured it would be good enough for more power upgrades down the road...now I cant find and 33 spline c clip axles...where can I get these? any help or advice
