  5. Wow you do some impresive work. I went through your truck build very nice. Keep up the good work hope to see some more pics of the Monte.
  6. Never realized how much red tape was involved Dave do you feel like a circus bear yet. Just so you know your my hero for when I get to retire seems like you have a ton of fun.

  8. If that is CLB at the end that is a 402. You can look for a date code on the block also. I did have a 71 SS that had a 72 casting number on the block but it had the vin stamped on the pad it was a very late 71 and they had already started using 72 blocks.
  9. Davey very impresive as usual. It stinks you had to detune it cant wait to see whats left on the table.

  13. That car is going to look good when it is done.
  14. Bob I wish my package tray was that nice the whole thing has to come out. I bought a spot weld bit today from the Mac guy. Came home at lunch and let it run for twenty minutes no leaks from the transmission so far. I also got it running pretty good compared to how it was running. Ordered a new throttle cable at work too.
  15. Dealerships can still get them also.
  16. Put a different carb gasket on and got rid of the vacuum leak. Also dropped the trans pan the transmission fluid looked really good no chunks just the normal sediment in the pan. Brought the pan to work to clean up on the bench grinder it the whole transmission is painted yellow.
  17. I wish my car looked that good naked lol.
  18. Holy shmoly that is some serious power. Way to go Davey!!
  19. I found the correct one no more vacuum leak now to replace the leaking transmission pan gasket.
