Went cruising with the club last night and went out again today. Thanks for that factory A/C. Sure is nice. Love my Monte. Such a fun car to drive and people really like it. One little kid said yesterday that it sure was a wierd looking old car. LOL

I had a great weekend with my Monte. Finally got her out of the bodyshop on Friday, went to the Walla Walla Cruisers Friday night cruise, brezed the bricks for a while and had a great time. It's so cool when you see all the thumbs go up when people see her. Went out again today with her. Such a great car to drive. Can't wait for the Western Meet in Spokane

A/C Delco filters is all I use. Never had any issues.

No one should ever take the vinyl top off. They look so classy with a vinyl top. My 70s had vinyl and my 72 has vinyl and I would never take them off. IMHO the vinyl top just adds so much to the look of the car.

Hate air shocks. Don't haul much but to get the rake look I put 1 1/2 " stools under the rear springs. Worked out great and very in-expensive. JMO

Went to the BS to check on the progress and it was awful. Paint did not even come close. Going tomorrow to help the guy and see if I can get it out of the shop. I have been able to drive it in over a month. MDS disease is what I have.

Went to check on it at the body shop. Hope to have it home for the weekend

Softseal is what I've heard. Not used them but they come highly recommended by my bodyshop.

Went for a cruise and Easter dinner with the wife. It was 70+ out today and such a nice day to have the Monte out.

I want to use my factory A/C and no one has R12 freon. What can I do to keep it factory and still make the A/C work properly. I guess they say that the R12 is illegal????? Thanks for any information

I would never recommend VFN. They put out some lozzy work. I know from experience

I really want to do some serious cruising this summer and with the 2:73 gears it should do fine. Help on the fuel mileage also. Gonzo, if you want the gears we can make a deal. 3:73s and they have not been in the car very long. Someone installed a posi/locker unit in the factory carrier. Not sure if they are very good, but are noisy. We'll see how it goes. Cruising at 70 should be no problem. Thanks for all the info.
