  3. DANG! there are lots of people saying DANG! It might be an epidemic Jared
  4. If you have a photobucket account, you upload the pictures to Photobucket and then copy the IMG code and paste it into a post.
  5. I want to say a big THANKS! to Scott Stephens "footballubet" for all the time he invested in making the participant plaques that were handed out. Just when you think this club is the best, it gets even better.
  6. There seemed to be plenty of "rude" drivers down there. Worse than when I drove to Disney in Orlando.
  7. Leaving the hotel Arriving at the Speedway A look in the rearview mirror Sitting in line waiting for the gates to open
  8. Steve...please know that the Soprano's were really missed. Some of us had our own "b*tch in the box" stories to tell, but none were quite as entertaining as yours. We are hoping the Long Island crew will be in Norwalk in 2010.
  9. That would be really cool Bob!
  10. DANG! Congratulations Jim! You and your Monte deserved the award. You got my vote too! It was great to meet you and Evelyn. Look forward to seeing you in O HI O next year!

I can really picture some white or off white racing stripes on the hood and deck lid.
  12. Count Judy and I in also. I hope there is still room.
  13. I realize that there will be children at the meet. However, I also realize that "illegal substances" were a big part of the era our cars were made in. As a history teacher, I am required to teach the history of that era. When I teach Counterculture (the 60s and early 70s) in my American History classes, drugs make up part of that history curriculum. Marijuana and other more dangerous drugs are discussed as are their many nicknames (Lucy, Horse, Nickel Bags, etc.). That in no way means that I am encouraging my students to go out and use drugs. What Rob did was in jest and not meant to promote the use of marijuana.
  14. I also have a set that I will sell at a very reasonable price. Let me know. Jack
  15. That is awesome Jake. I am trying to find out if the dealer my car was delivered to is still around. It was delivered to George Irvin Chevrolet on S. Colorado Blvd. in Denver Colorado. FInding stuff about your car is a difficult as studying your family's geneology. Cool stuff. Glad you got the note from him and I love seeing the 73 Monte in the garage. I also saw a 1971 Plymouth Fury III in the background. Jack
  16. You are right Scott, I am pretty proud. My daughter is my pride and joy. It was a very difficult day for me. Some day, when you escort Bree down the aisle, you will know that feeling. Oh well, such is life. Dig the Jaguar behind us. I have a friend who owns a car dealer. He loaned my the Jag so that the kids could use our car to cruise around in between the wedding and the reception.
