  1. Looks great. But I am a fan of the bench seat and stick!
  2. Hey Davey....your comment put a smile on my face. Remember the phrase "you don't know squat" ? Nobody can say that to you! Apparently you DO know squat!
  3. Nice job Mike! Best of luck and be safe!
  4. I weighed my car. It is 4180 with me in it. What a porker......the car is heavy too!
  5. I just found out I have the same lifters as you.
  6. I am awaiting confirmation but I went on the morel site and I am going to guess that they are the #5045 Lifters.
  7. The song that plays in my head when watching your video is "Jump around" by House of pain.....
  8. I don't have the part number for the Morel lifters and since I am in Florida, I don't have my paperwork. These are their High Rev lifters. According to the builder, they were having a problem with the lifters breaking over 6k rpm. Their solution is these lifters which bleed down, hence the clacking. The suggestion was originally to go with the 10w 30. The latest was to go to a 5w 30 which you already know. It is not the rockers as the noise does go away. Since my motor is all in at 5800 rpm, my thought was to go with the non rhodes like lifters....lol. Your thoughts as always are quite welcomed! I will try the lighter oil first and keep my fingers crossed.
  9. I would like to do some baseline testing on my Subaru tuners Mustang Dyno. I think a ProSystems carb is in my future! On a side note, the Morel Hi Rev lifters I have make a racket till it warms up. I would go with a Straub cam if I can rid myself of that noise. All in all, I am having a blast. And, those Nitto 555R's are working so far. Nothing beats running my car as it sits. The looks I get in the staging lanes is priceless! Thanks for the help!
  10. That was great dude! You are a charter member of the "Never Lift Club"
  11. Thanks Davey.....I am heading out to the next test and tune on Wednesday to see what the timing adjustment did. If drive train and accessory loss is actually around 12% to 15%, I am probably close to what the motor did on the dyno.

  13. Thanks Al. I want to work all the bugs out so I can join you guys at the next track rental and actually enjoy the car.
