  3. Yes Cory that's exactly what I'm talking about. My cousin fixed the outer panel of the fender and the brace was ate up on one of them. I really don't need a whole fender.
  4. Anybody got any ideas on how to fix the brace part on the lower fender that rots away?
  5. Man this Club is GREAT!! Always someone there to help.
  6. Glad you got it Larry!!! Congrats on owning one of the only ones left.
  7. Looking at the diagram that Rod provided there appears to be three spacers. There is one under the fan and another under the bearing retainer, then there is one at the bottom of the lower housing. I only have two spacers. I have tried to put one at the bottom and the other under the fan. It binded. Then I tried to put one under the fan and behind the retainer and it binded. I am at a standstill right now. I am going to try and get a third spacer. I remember taking a spacer with all the other stuff to get chromed. I think it got misplaced. Will post my results when I get the third spacer.
  8. Yes I held the bruhses in. The thing siezes up when I tighten down the pulley. What could I have done wrong?
  9. Got It!! It's kind of tight and doesn't spin as free as it should. I'm going to test it when I go back to work tomorrow. I also have to clean the threads up to put the pulley bolt on. We will see!!
  10. Thanks Guys!!! Exactly what I needed. I had started putting it back together from memory and I wasn't far off. Thanks again!!... Rodney

  20. Painted my headers today. VHT SP100 flat gray primer, SP117 flat aluminum paint, and SP115 Satin clear. All is supposed to be good within the 1300-2000 degree fahrenhiet temperature. Hope it lasts.
  21. Wouldn't I have to change the wiring for the voltage regulator. Really didn't want to do that.
  22. Well I took my alternator all apart to have it chromed. Don't know if I can put it back together though But I will take it to the local guy here that does alternators and he will boost the output amps as well. This plating will cost me $55 to $75. I know this may be a lot but it is still my factory part. Last time I priced a chrome alternator it was like close to $250.
