After removing the holder plate of the A/C compressor I have found two not connected cables which seem to belong to a part which I would say is the oil sending unit. It's on the drivers side near the spark plugs. There was a female connector stuck on it which can't be used anymore so I probably will try to reconnect the cables with single connectors instead. There is a green and a green-white cable hanging around. Is it important to know which one belongs to which contact or is it interchangeable? The oil sending unit is on the top of the engine block in the rear below the distributor. It should have a single dark blue wire going to it. On this unit it does make a difference which wire goes on which side. Look at a 1971 wiring diagram to determine which way it goes. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
