My cable has always been at an odd angle since switching to the Edelbrock carb.Its kind of worn anyway and the kickdown has never been right. I want to just get the Lokar bracket.and the throttle cable to go with it. What size and any issues with the install? Gathering up a Jegs order for when it warms up enough to fire up the heat in the garage, not warm enough to even bother right now Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CKZ03 Posted January 29, 2014 Share Posted January 29, 2014 I used a Lokar throttle cable Tony, positive its a 24" and I wound up cutting quite a bit off as they are universal. Leghome Posted January 29, 2014 Share Posted January 29, 2014 I replaced my throttle cable with a GM I got from my local Chevy dealer. I think it was for a NOVA but worked perfectly with Eldebrock 1406 carb after I had a new bracket made to hold the Bowtie Overdrive shift down cable, throttle cable and Cruise cable.
