shoalssales
I have a 1972 monte carlo and I'm wanting to lower it as much as I can with just dropped spindles & coils and I was wondering what is the best place to buy some and how low can I actually get the car without losing too much ride comfort. Daryl
I have 2 inch drop spindles and I'll be using tires that are a little over an inch smaller in diameter all up front. In the rear the wheel combo will have a reduced height of 1 3/4 inches. I'm looking at doing coil overs there. With the coil overs in the rear I have about 3 inches of adjustments to level up the rear with the front.
shoalssales
If you cut your coils with a cutting wheel and not a torch would there be any difference then cutting them or going with drop coils.
monte70car
Drop coils is safer and more law freely
Sam (Bones)
drop spindles is the best way, you still retain your suspension travel and geometry
shoalssales
Ok I'll definitely go with drop spindles and coils. Thanks
