tonym0828
Anyone tell how difficult changing the motor mounts on 350 in a 72 is on the garage floor. I looked under and I am worried about having enough clearance to get them out. has headers on it.
mikenewman
they are not hard at all. put car on jack stands put a wide board on the floor jack under the oil pan. put small amount of presure on jack. remove through bolts. raise the motor up gently watching the distributor cap. remove bolts off motor. repeet in reverse to install

502ci
Like it was already mentioned watch the distributer cap...might even want to remove it if you have an aftermarket one that has a large cap. It doesn't take much to have a little bit of pressure on it from the firewall and it will crack.
