rentahubby
Replaced my neutral switch today and it was bypassed previously, would anyone have the wiring diagram or a pic of where the wires go? Its a console switch NS-7, think the wires that are wired together are pink? Can't remember exactly...damn short term memory...lol.

MCfan
David, I attached a couple pages from the 1970 Monte Carlo Wiring Diagram manual that show the neutral safety switch and the purple wires that go to it. Also a couple pics of the console shifter switch and the wiring harness that shows the purple wire. Looks like the other side of the neutral safety switch runs to the fuse panel plug. Not sure if these will help ...

rentahubby
So the harness plugs into the switch? My harness is gone, somebody butchered it.
