Guest
Can anyone tell me what size the tubing nuts on the tranny cooling lines are ? Are they the same size at both the radiator and tranny? Is there an adaptor at the tranny where the lines connect. Thinking about changing to braided lines with AN fittings and getting rid of those ugly misshapen steel lines. There's a guy on Ebay who will make you up a set at a decent price (By it now) Thanks Don't all faint at once, the only mods to my 71 are under the hood. She's bone stock everywhere else. Guest
After doing much research I found the proper fitting for this modification, It's an Aeroquip fitting no. FBM2111 and is called a 6AN to 1/2-20 thread inverted flare and is actually a fuel pump adaptor. It sells for $6.95 at Summit. For anyone thinking about replacing your cooler lines I hope this info helps. Thanks again.
