BowtieThunder Posted June 27, 2005 Share Posted June 27, 2005 Guys its been awhile since I used a speedometer in my car and I am going to hook it back up.When I was at the dealer they said a 71 had a 2 piece cable but I could swear when I removed it ,it was just a 1 piece cable.Will the 1-piece cable work? Monteman1971 Posted August 26, 2005 Share Posted August 26, 2005 I have never seen a 2 piece cable, only one piece. No matter what the engine/trans combo. The exception I guess is with cruise control. The Chevelle cables are the same, if your parts guy can't find it under Monte. I got mine from one of the resto parts supply guys locally.
