Clever Idiot
Hi all, I've tried searching and no luck (here or otherwise). I'm looking for the vertical tube that screws to the firewall, next to the fuse block. It's meant to retain the wiring harness. Does anyone know what it's called or who may carry it? Clever Idiot
Thanks! I thought that was the horizontal one on the engine side, that mounts high near the cowl? I'm looking for the one on the inside between the steering column and fuse block. Shown here (link should jump to 6:03)
1970mcss
Interesting, I wasn't aware that was a part that might be serviced. Hopefully someone that has restored there car will know.
Clever Idiot
Hopefully I didn't trash mine when I took it apart ten years ago! 🤣
rotinrob
If I remember correctly the wire gutter that is inside near the fuse box is either a part of or is very similar to the gutter that runs the length of the car from front to back. Unless you are going for dead nuts correct any of the wiring gutter that is somewhat flat could work. The AIM might show this as the fuse box wasn't installed by the body shop but sometimes the rear harness was (I can't remember and don't have an AIM handy but I think Fisher Div installed those). My car is in hibernation and we just got a foot of snow so I don't know when I can take a look at what is on my car. rotin
