Guest supercoupe5
i took the egine and trans out of my car (350ci and th350). i put in a differand engine and trans (355ci and th400). now when i went to hook up the shift cable from my floor shifter i dont have the bolt holes in the side of the trans case on the 400 that i did on the 350. is there a differant bracket for the 400 or a differant cable or what. info and pics would be great. thanks dave
Ian
It takes a different bracket, but I think the same cable. You also will need the kick down switch that mounts to the brake pedal bracket as it is electronic. Ian

monte70car
x3 the kick down switch mounts the gas pedal. dave ill get you a pic of the switch and bracket later today. i dont think there is a brackey on the trans for the cable as it goes a short distance to the arm on the trans i will double check that as well. here is a pic of the bracket and the switch dave i have to move the car out to check on the cable

Sam (Bones)
I'll have to look around and see if I can find my switch and cable bracket Dave, I know that I took them off, just don't know where I put them
