1970 MC
I have a 1970 MC that I am trying to determine drive train authenticity. Vin. 138570F145279 Tag. ST. 70. 1385 FL. 2224771 TR. 780 45 04B
MC1of80
You need to see if the last 6 of the vin, 145279 is stamped into the engine pad below/behind the alternator and transmission case. Also, your car was built in the Flint plant. No Flint assembled car has there been a build sheet found.
Canuck
The 1970 VIN and body tag do not indicate what engine came in the car. This will help you decode the engine which you can see if it matches the VIN. https://www.firstgenmc.com/forums/index.php?/resources/decodingengine/
