cny first gen 71
Does it have an external regulator or internal?
mrm
I don’t know . I am trying to get a proper wiring diagram The alternator has a main red wire two small wires one blue one white As far as I know the white is for gauge and blue is exciter wire from ignition
jft69z
If you're not sure if the regulator has been converted to the internal type, that could be a problem. If it has been, a wiring diagram won't be accurate, or much help.
cny first gen 71
Look on the back side of the core support behind drivers side headlight see if there's a little black box, if there are wires hooked up to it probably, if not someone may have bypassed it. It also has to be grounded probably if it is being used.
