amsterdam84
I see a rear end 10 bold posi 3:42 for sale used locally for $700. Do I buy that go through it and install or do I take my open rear 10 bolt 2:83 and make that a posi? The one installed now is leaking at the front seal so will most likely have to come out anyways. Opinions?
Chevyss
JMHO I'd build the one you have now. This way you can build it the way you want it and put the parts in it you want. $700.00 seems like a lot to me.

Sam (Bones)
is this a complete axle for $700? even so, that's steep for a used 10 bolt

amsterdam84
Lol that's why I was asking what stock rear carrier I have. 8.2 or 8.5? I see new posi units for less than $700 so that's good.
amsterdam84
The question now is what size carrier do I need? Is the stock size 8.2 or 8.5?
