680HPStroker
Does anyone know if a 70-72 Chevelle fuel tank is exactly the same as a Monte? Aeromotive makes a sumped fuel tank for a Chevelle, but no one I've found makes one specifically for a FGMC. Thanks. Greg
Andreas
www.oldmusclecars.com has the same part no for fuel tanks for a 70 Chevelle & Monte, but different part nos for 71-72 Chevelle and Monte... Same at www.yearone.com Looks like the 70 Monte tank will fit 71-72 Chevelles, but that the 71-72 Monte tank is different... Hmmm.... 502ci
I thought they were the same except the filler neck length may differ. Where did you find an Aeromotive sumped fuel tank for a chevelle even? I looked everywhere even at Aeromotive...
MeanMonte
they are one in the same for 70's and the 71-72 are the same but the years differ from one another in small amounts, has to do with venting different.
680HPStroker
I found the Chevelle tanks right on Aeromotives website. What is different about a 72 Monte's fuel tank?
502ci
I`ve already purchased a sumped tank but was curious about the aeromotive one (still can`t find it on the site) some how I`ve seemed to of missed it. What key words do you insert? I just keep getting their universal one and a fuel cell.

502ci
hey Bill, wonder how much they want for one There is no way it could be cheaper than the one I got... But now I`m on a mission to actually see an aeromotive one. This is the one I keep getting to come up...
