ssmonte70
Can anyone tell me if these will fit a 1970 SS Monte? I thought that our original shocks from the factory were called Pleasurelift or Superlift from AC Delco. These are Superlift from 1995. Any help would be appreciated. http://s1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff464/TroyChargers80/AC%20Delco%20Shocks%20Superlift/ Thanks--Troy

LostnFound
Hey Bob, would these have been the stickers on the originals? http://www.camarocentral.com/product_p/sti-807.htm
LostnFound
Anyone know what the part number was of the original Pleasurlift air shocks from our cars with load level suspension?
MCfan
Hey, Larry, My 1970 GM Assembly Manual on page 563 calls out part number 3197337-8 for the Shock Absorber Assembly for RPO G67. I have no idea if that is a proper part number for a replacement unit from stock.
LostnFound
Thanks Dennis.....I also found these numbers on an old thread.... 3197338-Right 3197337-Left Cheers, Larry
LostnFound
They have also deciphered these numbers on the Chevelle site as Superlift shocks....not Pleasur-lift. I wondered about this too as the diagrams I have for our system mention Superlift. http://www.chevelles.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-371663.html
LostnFound
The numbers for our 70 air shocks are mentioned in the following document and look to be specific to the 1970. http://whateveristrue.com/chevy/Section%207.000.pdf The air shocks for the 71 are listed as 71-75 Pass with/air booster in section 7.345 and are part numbers..... 3197689-Left 3197690=Right Cheers, Larry
