jamato
I was wondering if grade 8 bolts with lock washers are strong enough to replace the rusty nuts and bolts that hold the front lower control arms to the frame. Also could I use grade 8 bolts to attach the steering knuckle to the spindle?
Sam (Bones)
grade 8's will be good lock nuts instead of lock washers would be a good idea also, and some loctite I use medium strength loctite on all my suspension parts! lock nuts or not! remember...it's best to not tighten the control arm bolts until the weight of the car is on the suspension

footballubet
Also a good idea to use a little antisieze on the bolt shoulder that goes inside the bushings etc. Keeps the rust away.
