  1. Here is a Route 66 set up, I no longer own the car, but this is what I had put in before I sold it. Rt-66 Website: Rt-66 Parts Good luck.
  2. Awesome! Can't wait to hear how it reacts on the road...
  3. Quote: Getting old watching Davey never screw up, break, or blow up. Davey is not immune to BSH (Bad Stuff Happening) He blew up a drive shaft in the 'velle early last year.
  4. Quote: Can I add my wired printer to my linksys router and print off my laptop? If the printer has an Ethernet port and the correct drivers are loaded onto the laptop, yes.
  5. Capri, The first problem is the NetGear router, in a word they stink...but we'll work around that....LOL Seriously it's Hard to say for sure given the posted information...so try this: Does the computer show "connected" In Windows once it is booted? Is it connected via a cable or wireless card? Try this: From the computer that has internet access: Click Start > Run Type "CMD" Minus the quotes. Type 'IPCONFIG /ALL" Minus the quotes Write down the IP, Default gateway and subnet mask and DNS Server IP Addy. From the computer not able to connect, repeat this and compare the two, you should see basically the same IP Configuration on the machine with no internet access, with the exception of the IP address, the Default Gateway and Subnet mask will generally be the same. It should also have a DNS IP address listed, with out that the computer will not be able to resolve IP addresses. If is has an IP address, DNS address etc...try to ping the IP of the Default gateway: Start> Run Type CMD Type Ping x.x.x.x (x Indicates the IP address of the Default Gateway. Then do the same for the DNS entries. Post your results, and we can troubleshoot further from there.
  6. Nice! Can't wait to see the results!!
  7. Okay, here are some updated pictures of the 496 as of 28 Dec. Not a lot new to see, but the new Aeromtoive fuel log is mounted, and the tank, pump, and lines are done out back, and we should be able to finish the plumbing of it up front before I get on the plane. With the wiring harness still not completed, it's doubtful I will get to the point we can actually fire the 496 before I leave which is a bummer of sorts, I was really hoping to hear this thing run. I actually got to see the car in person, and it's coming along, very slowly but it is coming, the dash is in, I'll put those pictures up soon, and I am going up today to try to test fit the new console and do some work on the front clip, core support etc. A shot of the Ricks sumped tank and fuel pump plumbed in.
  8. Pistons? Only say that because of the stress caused by the actual combustion and heat in a confined space, which exerts high pressures /stresses on the piston surface.
  9. No more Torque-Tech? Boooo! I was going to try to use them at some point too!
  10. No, re-read my post.... I said the 'lope' was at idle Kenny...LOL No tach? So you're basing RPM drops on your "really good ear"? Ummm...lemmme think...Hmmmm Okay...try this. TURN THE TUNES UP. Problem solved! Yer Welcome.
  11. Okay I guess I misunderstood you posts. Moving on .... So in effect what your are saying is you're wondering /concerned about what is causing the RPM to drop? Correct? If that is the case.. this RPM drop happening at speed you mentioned; is the car's speed constant and you're ONLY noticing a variance in what your tach reads? Or are you getting a lunging or slowing while trying to maintain a steady cruising speed? As far as RPM's dropping at idle, from your video, I honestly don't hear anything wrong, it just sounds like a happy SBC with a Mild cam to me...other wise known as "loping".
